environnement: snowy temple

I envisioned this scene as part of an open-world map, with a snowy mountain guarded by a fierce dragon and a hidden temple within. Inside the temple, monks live in constant fear of the dragon’s wrath. This concept art is born from my imagination and my deep passion for Asian cultures. I have always been fascinated by dragons and their symbolism, and the idea of ancient temples. It didn’t take much more to inspire me to create this scene.
Additionally, I wanted to capture the mystery and beauty of these settings, blending the serenity of the temple with the looming danger of the dragon, creating a dynamic contrast that fuels the story behind the artwork. The idea was to evoke a sense of awe and tension, where nature and myth intertwine in a world full of wonder."

Generally, for concept art, I use Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop, combining painting with PNG collage techniques. This allows me to quickly build up complex scenes while maintaining the artistic freedom of hand-painting details. The blend of these two approaches gives me the ability to experiment with textures, lighting, and composition in a way that feels dynamic and flexible. By using collage elements, I can also speed up the creative process, focusing more on storytelling and atmosphere while ensuring the artwork stays rich and detailed.

environnement: lost statue

For this concept art, I wanted to depict a secluded place hidden in the mountains, a kind of cove where a mystical golden dragon statue is placed. I used a direct reference of a Chinese dragon statue, which I then collaged into Photoshop. Afterward, I focused on refining the texture, lighting, and shadows to enhance the overall graphical feel. I aimed to create a sense of mystery and awe, blending natural elements with mythical symbolism to evoke an ancient, forgotten realm.
